Te Motu Home Learning
Home Learning can often be a source of problems at home over what is expected, when is it due and what happens if it is not completed.
This term our home learning will be completed mainly online. The weekly expectations are outlined in the slideshow below. Students will have spelling, numeracy and reading to complete each week.
There is also extra activities for those students who would like to extend themselves.
Homework will be shared with the teacher and commented on online.
Students who are unable to complete their Home Learning can see the teacher before Friday to arrange an extension or complete the work during Friday day.
Students will have a copy of this slideshow saved to their Google Docs and will be sharing it with you at home so you can see that they have completed their learning each week.
Students without access to the internet can use school computers before school as well as turning some of the activities into paper based learning.
If you have any questions please email me at school.

Peanuts in lunches
As you will be aware from the newsletter last week, we have a new student who has a severe anaphylaxis to any trace of peanuts.
Our Peanut monitors are going to the junior classes before each break time to help students check that they do not have peanut products, and have done an amazing job so far.
If you could keep peanuts and peanut butter out of your children's lunch boxes that would be amazing as it will make a huge difference to one Pukerua Bay student.
